The company offers security services for homes and businesses located in the Bay Area. The Bay Alarm Company outlines aspects of its service which comprise its Bay Alarm Difference: it’s family-owned business; only the highest quality UL-approved devices are used; the monitoring stations are not outsourced; local staff available for quick service and installation; and each security system is custom tailored to the individual homeowner. Unfortunately the Bay Alarm website lacks information, to a detrimental extent, on its website. As a result the customer is at a disadvantage, needing to speak to sales for almost all pertinent information.
Bay Alarm Reviews – Devices:
The Bay Alarm company does not provide information for the devices it uses online. Because the company provides monitoring and security services for fire and intrusion threats, some devices used include a control panel, motion detector, door and window sensors, and smoke detectors. The Bay Alarm Company also provides video surveillance, including indoor and outdoor cameras, mobile and stationary units, and CCTV systems with DVRs.

The Bay Alarm company offers 24-hour 365 monitoring from its secure central station for fire and intrusion. For customers an online account management system exists called BayNet, and for an upgrade charge, BayNet Plus. Basic features include requesting a service call, updating the emergency call list, viewing help options for each security system, as well as access to account balances, billing addresses and the ability to pay a bill online. Add-on services include Access Control, BayVision and CCTV service.

Each customer can login online to the customer center for Bay Alarm called Baynet. Baynet allows customers to easily review their accounts, billing, payments and request service repairs or upgrades. Customers can also activate their security systems easily from the Bay Alarm website. However, Bay Alarm does not provide any user manuals for its products, though they do issue a security newsletter containing relevant news, security tips and promotions, a featured customer of the company, product and service updates, as well as information on community involvement.
